Holiday Season

Our Focus 5 for a Merry and Bright Holiday Season

This month, we are taking a departure from our typical Focus 5, full of useful marketing tips, and giving you our best tips for a wonderful holiday season. We think these 5 ideas will help you walk that fine line between a chaotic and rejuvenating few weeks.

holiday season

  1. Go sledding. Or ice skating. Some kind of outdoor activity that puts some red in your cheeks and makes you feel very deserving of that hot chocolate (whipped cream optional but strongly encouraged).
  2. Have a baking day. Nothing says “holidays” like a house that smells like butter and sugar. Add some sprinkles in the mix and you’re guaranteed a good time (as long as you relinquish the fact that the sweep up will be epic).
  3. Deliver treats to neighbors. Whether you’re established in your ‘hood or a recent transplant, the holidays provide an excellent opportunity for connecting with people in your neighborhood. Who doesn’t love to come home to a package of treats on the stoop?
  4. Watch some football. We are partial to the Broncos, but any kind of football will do in a pinch.
  5. Find moments of quiet. In the hubbub of the holidays, perhaps the best thing you can do to ensure that you maintain that festive feeling is to actually carve out some quiet time. Maybe get up a little early to have your first cup of coffee on your own. Or take a soothing bath at night to wind down from a busy day. Thinking about what you’re grateful for each day is also a great practice during the holidays and helps keep things in perspective.

So that’s it! Go forth and have yourself a merry little holiday season! We will see you next year.
