Getting the Team in Focus

At Focus Marketing & PR, we have an internal lineup of passionate team players, who share in common beliefs of trust, transparency and collaboration. So, in realizing we haven’t done a “meet the brains at Focus” piece in some time, we’re offering an inside (maybe repeat) look now.

For starters, Focus is the brainchild of founder and lead operator, Niki Lopez. Following a career as a producer and sports reporter, and discovering marketing as her absolute passion, she created Focus in 2009 as a boutique online marketing and public relations firm. Niki remains loyal to her original vision of helping business owners achieve their goals through smart and effective marketing and PR strategies. 

Next in line is our very own Professor of Broadcast Journalism, Cory Lopez. He brings to Focus his 30+ years of professional broadcast experience, including voice work, production experience, radio and TV hosting, and play-by-play for sporting events of all levels. Brooke Kuhn brings her passion for helping others succeed to the Focus Team, and she’s well-positioned to do simply that, with her experience in non-profit, government, education and more. Brooke has her hands in many Focus clients activities, so she’s certainly someone to know.

Armed with artistic expression and an relentless eye for design, Susan Harman, shares with Focus her more than 20 years of graphic design and marketing prowess. She has an affinity for the creative process and is ever enthusiastic about helping entrepreneurs to  create strong visuals that reflect their company’s story. 

April Slater is an astute, and sometimes witty narrator, with a long-standing knack for creative thinking and meaningful collaboration. She is a long-time producer of strategic copy production for Focus’ diversified set of outlets and audiences.
