Niki Lopez Adds Another Feather to Her Cap

We’ve got some exciting news to share! Focus Marketing & PR courageous’ Founder, Niki Lopez, was recently named as the Marketing Committee Chairperson for the newly-formed Thornton Area Chamber of Commerce. In this role, she’ll provide strategic communications counsel and marketing prowess to the organization that partners with the city’s 1,800 businesses and nearly 150,000 residents who call Thornton home.

Originally branded as “The City of Planned Progress,” Thornton is the sixth largest city in the State of Colorado, and boasts a diverse population with a wide-range of socio-economic conditions for residents throughout the city.

Lopez knows her stuff. There’s no question about it. And her passion for marketing, communications and public relations runs deep, like really deep. Her entrée to the wide-world of marketing began following her time as a producer and sports reporter for Denver’s NewsRadio 850 KOA. Following positions as a marketing director for a small, family-owned contracting company and franchise marketing consultant for a large national franchise organization, she discovered her true talent and love for consulting with franchise-owners on how to make their local markets work for them. 

Armed with extensive media contacts and native-born knowledge of Colorado and the Denver market, Niki built Focus nearly 15 years ago to fit her original vision of outfitting small- and medium-sized businesses with smart and effective marketing and PR strategies. This year, she launched sister company, Red Hazel Communications, to share her insight with mission-driven organizations and top-tier business executives.
