The Outdoors are Calling: 11th Annual National Get Outdoors Day

The Colorado-native ladies of Focus Marketing + PR are super excited to check out the 11^thAnnual National Get Outdoors Day happening Saturday, June 9, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., at Sloan’s Lake Park’s north shore (2500 North Sheridan Blvd., Denver, Colo. 80212). Our client, Mountain Side Gear Rental, will headline the event as a retail vendor and main stage occupant cooking up 600 s’mores for event goers.

Come check out Mountain Side’s event paraphilia and then enter contests to win adult andchild-size backcountry gear. Plus, Mountain Side will have its newest inventory offering on display – a Honda African Twin motorcycle. Known for highway and off-road driving, motorcycles rental reservations begin this summer. What better way to experience Colorado than from the saddle of an “Adventure Motorcycle.”

National Get Outdoors Day is a fun, free active day with a zillion things for everyone to do, from fishing, dancing and climbing, to hiking, paddling and eating. Select adaptive recreation activities are available for people of all backgrounds and abilities. The event is sponsored and organized by a collaboration of non-profits and government agencies, including the U.S. Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management, the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Colorado Parks & Recreation Association, Vail Resorts and radio station KBCO FM.
