We have been around for over five years now and somebody recently asked how Focus Marketing + PR got its name. Great question!
You know, naming a company is harder than you would think. Actually it is harder to do than naming a baby. When you combine all of the things that go through your mind – has to a unique name, has to make sense with your brand, can’t be the name of anything else that is similar to what you are doing, easy to spell…the list goes on and on.
While we had many options in the running, a friend of Niki Lopez’s actually suggested the name Focus. It just felt right – made a nice connection with what we were trying to do for our company and our clients. You never know where the inspiration is going to come from. But we ran with it and love our name and brand 5 years later!
