You Don’t Have To Spend More To Get More

When you start a campaign on Google you may think that you have to spend more than everyone else to get a good page ranking. Well, that is only kind of true. Some of the time.

You see, when you start bidding on keywords you are telling Google how much you are willing to spend per day. It will allow a certain number of clicks on your ads and will help determine where you show up in the search results. The logic is that the more you spend, the higher you will appear in the search results and then the more clicks you will get. For the most part that is true.

But don’t get too down. You don’t have to outspend your competitors to compete. Google takes into account more than just the money you are spending. Google gives preferential treatment to those companies that are creating quality content on their websites, updating their sites regularly and a quality match between the words that are in the keywords list and what is on the website.

So, if you take nothing else from this blog post, understand that to compete in the world of Google doesn’t always just come down to how much you are willing to spend. Taking care to create quality online content can make all the difference to reaching new customers!
