Happy Mother’s Day: A Celebration for More than Just Moms

Mother’s Day was May 8. While there’s hardly a one-size-fits-all celebration for the occasion, wide-spread aim is to honor the motherly figures in our lives, from mothers and grandmothers, to sisters and friends.

This year (like most years), the Focus Marketing & PR team spent the day surrounded by family and friends. We caught up on rest, rooted for our favorite youth baseball team and joyfully received homemade tokens of affection from our children. Celebratory cards and vases of spring blooms dotted the backgrounds of shared family meals, while from the rim of our home gardens, we found solace in fresh earth and seeds of tomorrow.
